Anyone worried about being caught visiting WG by a friend or family? This constantly sits in the back of my mind. Would be very embarassing for myself, especially since no one in my family would think i would do that. Anyone ever caught? How it turn out?

Wouldn't mind other bros experiences on this topic.

I always think about it. The being caught by someone you know.
The fear to be judge by someone.
Each time I go I think that might be someone behind me that is thinking see this guy going to see the prostitute.
But difficult to stop when there are some many beautiful WGs at lower price compare to others country.
as it is legal I just try to go in very quickly and without looking back.

just get in quickly and get out quickly. never look back or think too much about it. or wear a disguise everytime u visit wg

Yeah, I got caught...  The ex-BF of a WG I was seeing regularly hacked into her computer and found some emails I had written her.  He was pissed off about being the ex-BF, so he decided to take it out on me.  He tracked down my info and called my wife three weeks later and read her the contents of the emails.  There were enough specifics in the emails to thoroughly implicate me.  She threw me out of the house that night.  We went through a messy divorce, which finalised exactly 22 months later.  

My wife hired a forensic investigator to track down all of the money I had spent on WGs over the prior 15 years.  In the end, I had to repay US$400K into our joint assets from my share of the ultimate asset distribution.  She also hired two expensive lawyers, whose cost I had to partially bear.  We spent US$300K in legal and accounting fees in the process of the divorce.  Until I am retired, I will pay roughly a third of my income to her as alimony.  

It also had broader consequences.  My kids now know the whole story, which has really impaired my relationship with them.  With a few exceptions, all of our former friends (who were all couples we saw socially) dropped me like the plague.  The wives in the couples all sided with my wife, while the husbands just stayed neutral and avoided me for fear of offending their wives.  

But life goes on...  Since my life in the US was pretty shattered, I decided to make a new life here in Asia.  I'm slowly recreating a life here, but it takes time to put down roots again.  I have a wonderful 29-year-old GF (I'm almost twice her age).  When I have the urge, I can now see WGs for 10-20 percent of what I used to spend in the US.  And I hear the golf is good and inexpensive, although I'm too busy trying to get my work established to get back into the game regularly...

Yes, and holy smokes seeing how much social damage it has.  I definitely have to find ways to cover the tracks more.  I have not realized until now how much damage it might occur to relationship just seeing a WG.

Just make sure you don't get caught, and leave no trails behind you.

Going for a short good time with a ramdom WG is not that easiy to be caught red handed.
The problem usually starts when trying to be a regular.

have some prepared excuses..... and make it so that no-one can verify it.
(i.e., not like, "i was visiting my friend" or something like that)

And then have some planB prepared stories too, like a sob story of how you have been depressed lately, not yourself lately, and shit like that. Try to weasel out....

Depends HOW you get caught!, in that if you are walking around Fuju and see your boss then you both have power over each other, but you both know that if you reveal he will destroy you too!.

And thus you keep quiet about it!

Every time I'm in Asia I'm with friends (the ones that go punting) and not family...lucky me I guess

Before I got married, I told my wife:

Dear, you're so young and beautiful and since I love you so much, I want you to know that if you were ever unfatihful (and of course I hope that it never happens!!) that you follow the follwoing rules
1. Deny - no matter what
2. Don't ever let me lose face amongst my friends (don't ever let any body know)
3. Don't ever bring back anything dirty (VD etc)
4. Don't ever have another "unit" than us. (no bambinos!)

This is of course my own way of telling her what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Asian wives KNOW that it is unrealistic to expect their husbands to be 100% faithful - an just as long as the above "rules' are followed - does it matter to her if you're out working, playing golf, seeing old friends or Boinking some other gal! Absolutely no difference.

One other thing - as a husband to an Asian Woman - one MUST be fullly responsible for her and the family - you do that and everything else is seen "one eye open, one eye closed." Asian women are THAT practical

The key is to find the right woman to make your life partner - and its' a lot easier to find such a woman amongst Asians.

Thanks for all your bros input. Caligynephiliac is the sort of story that really scares me. My life can be turned upside down if i was ever caught. I live overseas but have lots of family in HK. So someone might catch me going into a hotel. That frightens me. So I get a hat and the facemask all the HK ppl sometimes where. Might not help at all but at least makes me feel better.

I guess you got to assume that you get caught red-handed. Well, just short of being caught right in the act.
That's the worst case.

So you don't have any time to think up a good story on the spot.
If you're an ABC, CBC, BBC, whatever and relatively new to HK, you always have the great excuse of getting lost. Even better if your chinese reading ability is not 100% too.
In HK, and china especially, every block of buildings looks the same grey drab to me. I get lost so easily.

But seriously...WTF is up with alimony? that is the most bullshit thing I ever heard of....Is it something I can get negated in a prenup?

Alimony requirements vary widely by country, by state within the US, and even by county (and by judge) within each state.  For example, until six years ago, it was illegal to pay alimony in Texas.  Unfortunately, I did not live in Texas.

I researched this issue quite deeply because of the demands of my divorce...  to the point at which my divorce lawyer would ask me for advice on certain issues.  But the whole area of divorce law is intellectually bankrupt...  There are few guiding principles.  It's all about what you can negotiate.  

My guess is that you could exempt yourself from alimony virtually anywhere with a well-written prenup.  Lord knows, if I ever get married again, I will have my wife sign a prenup.  I can't afford to give away another third f my income.  Between my ex-wife's third and the tax man's third, that would not leave me with much!
