This is not a report about a particular girl, but a comparison about the prices, quality of selection, and offering at Soi Cowboy in comparison to Nana Plaza. Please share your experience below in the comments and make this a review post for bros who are new to Gogo Bars in BKK. For the bros who are new to Gogo Bars: These places usually have a stage, girls get on them, have a number (anywhere on their body). If you like one of the offerings, tell the waitress or mamasan, pay for a lady drink, chat with the girl, pay a bar fine and pay for the girl ST/LT and take her to the hotel.

Went on Saturday on a field trip to see who has the better offering: Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. Call it a show-down of Gogo Bars

Started around 8 pm in Soi Cowboy in Baccara. Paid for a beer at the entrance and went in. Selection was limited (around 10 WGs), quality was 5/10, all woman were fully-dressed in underwear, and place felt quite and boring. Not MCOT. It looked like the girls really didn't want to be there and looked for a bro to rescue them - not a great ambience. Finished the beer and was heading out to the next spot.

Around the corner of Baccara is Crazy House (got this place recommended from a bar lady in Baccara when I asked where I can see naked women). Same procedure as Baccara, got a beer at the entrance and went in. Crazy House took it up a notch in comparison to Baccara in terms of selection and nudity. Probably 20-30 woman for selection, some of them were completely naked, place felt much more lively and fun. It felt like a place where you can easily pick one or more girls of your liking, and take them home. Great selection of big asses, tiny asses, tall girls, short, spinners, with tattoo/no tattoos. Confident that everyone finds their COT there. Barfine was 500 (if I remember right) and ST around 3k (please correct me if I am wrong). Crazy House is transactional in a good way. Go in, pick the kind of girl you fancy on the evening, see if she has birthmarks or not, etc. and take her to the hotel. Imho great place for transactional business and were you know what you "get".

After finishing up the beer I head over to Nana Plaza. First stop: Gogo Bar on the floor above Spanky's (didn't see clearly the name). The place seems to be quite new, very clean ambience, and this place is huge. Were Crazy House felt cramped and all girls were squeezed on the stage, this place has a high ceiling and is very spacious with different areas for the girls to "play in". All girls have the same shiny, pink bikini and the place offers 2 big stages and one jacuzzi were you can exhibit the girls. Seats are plenty around each "event space (stage/jacuzzi)" stagged in 3 rows (similar to a football stadium). The girls genuinely seem to have fun here, were joking around, smiling, dancing on the stage and overall had a great time. Felt like one of the places were the girls like to come to work, have fun with their co-workers and overall have a good time. To me it looked like a place were you can hang out for some time, get a girl a lady drink, chat, meet another girl, etc. - all day long. Had a few beer, met some girls and were heading out to the next spot I got highly recommended.

Next on the list was Blondie. Blondie is a wild card - in a good sense. From what I understand from speaking with the mamasan, the girls who dance at Blondie are primarily there to entertain and not necessarily to go home with someone. If they like someone from the guests, they can hang out with them, drink with them, and if both (the girl and the guest) want to fuck, they can go ahead and proceed to a hotel. So it's very much up to the girl as well to choose someone she wants to fuck that evening.
About the girls : Young, beginning 20s, sexy spinners who want to have fun and party. The whole ambience felt fun, the girls were joking with each other, dancing sexy on the stage, and genuinely have a great time. The place is definitely less "glamorous" than the "Gogo bar on the floor above Spanky's", but the ambience feels more like a house party were someone invited some girls with loose moral values and were possibly "everything goes".

My evening ended with one girl from Blondie that felt like a great GFE (more in a following report). Overall it was a great evening with a wide variety of different Gogo Bars. I personally prefer Nana over Cowboy, but that is - as mentioned - a personal preference. Curious to hear what other bros experienced.

I’ve just been to BKK (mid Nov. – mid Dec.) and haven’t been in like 6-7 years, so everything felt pretty “new” to me.

Totally agree with the overall sentiment! Very much prefer Nana and the area around over Cowboy.

While both places are of course there to get you to spend money - to me it felt less “forced” at Nana. It seems like everyone there is a bit more chill and out for fun compared to Cowboy where it felt more like a bunch of taunts chasing after you. Cowboy has also been the only place during my whole Thailand trip where someone actively grabbed my arm when I was walking away getting louder & louder. And while there might be some who don’t mind, I don’t really appreciate this kind of behavior.

I’ve also shown both areas on 2 occasions to female friends (non WGs) who expressed an interest. Both times we had a much better experience at Nana with people overall being more friendly and welcoming to my partner, with some girls offering partner experiences.

In addition to that, Patpong feels kinda dead compared to either of these, but I’ve only been there 2 nights, so maybe I was just unlucky.

Also, please take this with a grain of salt since I am on the younger side so my experience might differ from the experience older bros will have.

The place above spankys is called billboards I believe, jacuzzi on the right side as you walk in and a carousel on the left. Great place for fun with a lively atmosphere and keen girls for you to barfine.

It's a shame baccara wasn't any good, precovid it was THE place to go for hotties that were the preferred type of our Japanese friends, which matches quite well with my type.

It's a shame you didn't try rainbow 4/5 in Nana, on the 2nd floor in the far/right corner. Those 2 bars there were pretty decent precovid as well

Not a big fan of the "arm grabbing" as well. I was in Patpong last year and share your sentiment. Not sure if it recovered until now. Pattaya and BKK seem to be the right places right now. Following Dr. A's FRs of Pattaya right now and it looks like this is the place to be to monger.

Yes, Billboards could work. Jaccuzzi and a carousel is right. Nana feels like the place to be over Soi Cowboy. Not sure what it is, but it feels more lively and fun. Will check out Rainow next time and put it in the thread.

Pro tip: Best thing about soi cowboy is the 30 baht sangsom shop right in front of sams. Great to grab a quick shot here as a break from the 180 baht drinks in the bars. The girls like to come here in between dancing shifts.  I’ve met countless girls here, bought them a 30 baht shot and gotten their lines and met when the bars closes. Avoid paying bar fine and get to talk to the girls for a fraction of the price to see if you can find a compatible girl.

I frequent both places as I'm living here. Both have their own character depending on what you are looking for. Nana there are bars and gogo bars wide selection. CowBoy has more with live music and BJ shop in the bars.

Just some Intel, I was at Nana yest & it was totally shut as well as surrounding bars, I was told it was due to election day & Soi Cowboy would be the same. Bars that serve food may remain open

Not 100% sure but Thermae may have been open, saw alot if activity but i was on the other side of the road. I was told the gogos should reopen today though.

I'm curious if the government would compensate bars for enforcing the no-alcohol sales yesterday. And must admit, I didn't know the gogos actually close, I'd assumed they'd even open on new years day, Xmas etc?

Blondie was run by the same owner as Spankys, however Blondie got sold to the Rainbow group at the end of March. Heard from a few girls that the owner was an idiot pothead and couldn't run the bar properly. I've never been there, so I can't say if the quality of the girls there has improved, or if their concept has changed since the takeover.

I haven't been to Baccara in half a year. It used to be my go to place to get some drinks pre-covid. But I didn't really see any fresh faces there for a while, just the same old girls that were running up miles getting rammed by customers and soaking up tequila like swamps on the daily. There's a policy at Baccara that requires you to buy the girl a few drinks before being able to barfine. And I have to say that their uniform (skirt+top) on the 1st floor sucks ass compared to almost all other bars I've visited, the only good part is that most of them don't use any underwear.

My go-to's now are Rainbow 5 and Billboard at Nana. Girls dancing in tiny bikinis on stage makes it easy to pick out someone to take back home. If you're from the west, you might prefer the girls at Billboard. If you're asian, I would recommend Rainbow 5.

At Billboard the best looking girls are at the rotating carousel imho. Just be aware that if you've never been at Billboard before the mamasan might ask you to pay the girl in advance when taking her out. You can still negotiate with the girls about price though. The mamasan just does it to help out the the girl, apparently a few girls have been screwed over by customers in the past.

Generally the Rainbow 5 girls are more petite and lighter skinned than at Billboard. There's also lots of younger girls in their early 20s here that would gladly go with you to a nightclub. Some girls here have the same policy as OP described at Blondie, as in they just come for drinks and rarely go out with customers. I haven't actually verified that last part myself, only heard it from staff a few times. Personally I have never had any issues taking girls here out.

I think Billboard is slowly going downhill similar to Baccara. I had a few choices & bought a lady drink for the 1st one. She was polite but categorically said she wouldn't dance unless it was on stage, so  I said that's fine. I then tried to call my 2nd choice but seems she's been barfined, I had observed before that she didn't seem to dance with customer but was chatting. Just a heads up for you guys
