Hot Dogs in HK (No, this isn't about sex...)

I'm from North America and god dammit, now that the weather is cooling off, I'm starting to miss my street meat!

Anyone from the Toronto region would know what I'm talking about. Does anyone know where a bro can get a good Dog in HK? (Polish or Italian sausage with hot peppers and saurkraut!)

I've had their phillie cheese-steak there, but never the dogs. I'll go tonight. Have a massive hankering for a dog right now.

Yeah... lined all long queens street with tons of condiments.  We have good real hot dogs here in NYC but limited condiments, nothing as extensive as Canada.

56kicks, "Hot Dog Factory" i am actually not sure where it is. i found it on my iPhone application thinking its the same place, it could be but I'm not sure. Call the # and see where they're located though, definitely in Mid-Levels/SoHo region.

Theres one I mentioned with directions underneath the escalators is just called "HOT DOG". I passed it on my way down today and it's close to "MOS BURGERS" or something like that.

ah, I did my research on this a couple of years back for a friend when he was visiting HK, and there's a place in Quarry Bay called Chicago Dogs as I recall.

Of course, there's always the eatery inside of the IKEA stores - one in Causeway Bay right next to Victoria Park and one at the Kowloon Bay MTR station.

oh well, bad info then. Hot Dog places here in the US in California come and go pretty quickly as well.

The best hot dog for the price is actually at the eatery in all the Costco stores - $1.50 US.  Don't think there are any Costco's or Sam's Club warehouse stores in HK, but there's definitely a couple of Sam's Clubs in SZ.

Big tasteless hot dogs with a soda for a buck fifty! LOL...   There is actually a very good hot dog joint in Kowloon about a 5 minute walk from MK.  I actually tried it, it was not too bad.  It is off Waterloo Road and on the block of Chung Yuen Mansion, I don't know the street name but the closest street is soares avenue.  It's a tiny hole in the wall but it is almost always packed and the price is cheap.  If you are on the ODD number side of waterloo, you can't miss it as u walk from the metropark hotel going down the numbers to the mk side.

heh I never said that Costco had the best hot dogs - just the best value for the money.  Unless you count the specials that Fry's Electronics has twice a year, where they'll offer a hot dog and a soda for 25 cents.

This is the place sexpert is talking about:

Man why do you have to bring up Hot dog in Toronto? I love going to Queens Street after clubbing in downtown for my fix. But My FAV in Toronto is after a night at Brass Rail drinking CANADIAN beer, I always stop to get a POLISH by the subway

There is a hot dog booth near the bottom of D'Aguilar Street going up to Lan Kwai Fong.  It is right next to a place that sells spicy chicken wings.  The chicken wings are pretty good too.

Rap: I know, right? Some other bro did it to me last week. Talking about how he had a dog on Queens street and then went for some poutine later that night, what a fucker. Got my (gastric) juices flowing.

I've tried a couple of places...no success. I've been left to fend for myself. Premium hot Italian Sausages and good buns at my place this weekend.

Another issue!!! I can't find north american style sliced hot peppers in Hong Kong?!? WTF! I'm hitting up citysuper tonight, if there's still no success, I'll have them imported. (Yes, I am this committed to my 'Dog)

If I find a place worth mentioning, I'll bring it up. My Hot Dog standards are pretty high, so I doubt I'll disappoint.

Speaking of Canadian Beers, I heard there's a Canadian Bar in HK? do you think they'll have Sleeman's or Moosehead?
