short answer is, yes, you can see sex141 with a proxy server, such as vtunnel.com

in china 141 site is not accessible, the obvious catch phrase "sex" would put it unavailable to access.

when you type in the web url, you just see a blank screen.

There's always ways around it.  For instance, if google doesn't work, you can try baidu.  You can always hub to a service in Japan or Korea.  We had to do that when the government blocked facebook and youtube.

Just curious....where's the sex141 server located?  Is it based in HK?

I am in China and it's a pain in the ass to be honest, no sooner do u use a proxy that seems stable then it gets blocked. I was using PaperBus but that doesnt work now. Rather appropriately, I am using pimpmyip which seems to be working OK (this morning anyway!)

As mentioned above and throughout the forum, the recommended proxy is vtunnel.com when surfing non endorsed sites in China...

I don't think it's base in HK....Information about 141 is spread thoughtout the world. I recall reading some thing about an addresss in Portugal. It looks like the main servers are in TX, USA. There were a few other website that were based in HK and had to shutdown because of legal issues.

For being block, I noticed in some hotels 141 is NOT blocked.  I was at someones home and a few website that are normally blocked were NOT. I think it depends on the network administrator.

Just use a proxy while visiting 141 forum/site. Thats what I always do. Provides privacy to you also, not just 141 sites but others sites too.

Actually when using a free proxy, information you type is used for data mining. The proxy or website might keep track of your information. There is no privacy. It is like having spyware on your computer.

I suggest NOT using a proxy for sensitive information like for banking to be on the safe side. Furthermore, be careful of your passwords and user account names..
