Dear Fellas,

I am going to hit Phuket for the first time and I am a little bit concerned about the selection of cute candies. I've experienced BKK and parts of north Thailand and was delighted. As for the southern island, I am a little afraid that it may be too packed by tourist.

By the way, is it true that girls in Phuket don't underess fully in the go-go bars, just like in BKK?

Please share your experiences and let me know what places are worth to go.

I was there in January and after being in HK I was so disappointed with selection I didn't even bother.  Ihope you will have better luck!  HK is much better, I think.  Have not done BKK

It's my understanding that Phuket is aimed more at the family market.

For sex tourism in Thailand you're better off sticking to BKK and Pattaya.

hmmm, is there anything around which you can reach with a not too long bus/boat ride.

Actually, Phuket is the best of day and night action IMHO.  

At night, the Patong area is full blast bars and WG's all over the place whilst  there are also random bars scattered all over the island.  Downtown Phuket town, there are also clubs where gals are available - and the largest one was Fantasia which was an old Movie house converted into a club.  Where the screen used to be, they have continuous shows/entertainment whilst if you look at the left, you will see 40 -80 gals on a good night behind a sort of bar - all waiting to be chosen.

Patong is pretty well like Soi Nana or soi Cowboy in Bangkok - full blast bar and gal action - but the prices are a bit higher and one does need to bargin and bargain hard.  One also need to make sure that one does pick a girl and not a lady boy.... and unfortunately, the best looking ones happens to be LB's

Daytime, Phuket as a tropical paradise is there to be enjoyed - and I'd suggest you go to Bang Tao/Surin beach or if you're into higher priced venues, go to the Laguna complex - which is totally NOT like phuket - more like Waikiki; that's how different it is.  Or else, you can also got to the Phuket Boat Club or the next door Phuket Marina (not quite sure about the exact name). If golf is your poison, there's the Blue Canyon, the Mission hill, the Laguna and a few other golf courses

In short - I do believe you're gonna enjoy yourself there if you want most of your day fully occupied PLUS its a beautiful place

I found that the opinion about Phuket is not really to good ... who knows why.

Guys expecting ful blast mongering only detinations would go to Pattaya - but to me that place is really grotty with not much other things to do except mongering. Any kind of daytime "activities" are quite rotty.

Phuket on the other hand is where some really high class facilites are - things like the first Aman resort - the Amanpuri in Bang tao, the very nice shopping arcade built by Alan Zeman  and lots of very very expensive and beautiful villas etc  There is a sizeable expatriate community who lives normal fakily lifes there and its all in all a very pleasant place.

Night life is not lacking either - as I mejtioned previously and I believe you'll be well satisfied with what's on offer.

I can highly recommend Phuket, Patong is the hub for mongering. Picture Patpong in bangkok, however on a beautiful island
One thing however is the prices, quite a step up from bangkok, in terms of food, taxis, shopping.

can anyone recommend places to go in phuket for mongering?? like is there a walking street or sumfing alike where wgs congregate in a specific place??? im going to phuket in 24hours time... and wanna try monger for the first time in thailand...=]

i guess i got my question a little muddled up... what i meant was whether or not there was a specific walking street in phuket... but i guess there isnt... all good...

Bangla Rd in Patong is the place to be where all the action is going on. It is correct that Phuket has become a more family orientated destination, but this just means that all the action is compacted into a small area so it is easy to avoid for families with small kids.

As a holiday destination this is actually very nice because you don´t get hassled at all when outside this area.

Also it means that the place offers better restaurants and nightlife options than areas like Pattaya.

Highly recommended and have a great time with the fantastic freelance girls you can find at clubs like Hollywood and Seduction. Price is around 1,000 baht for an all-nighter with all the action you can handle!

I was in Phuket for a bout a week in June. There are several major streets where you will find some action. However, you need to be careful because there are a lot of ladyboys standing around looking to score as well. I went to a few massage parlors and connected with a few of the girls there and hooked up with them outside of their work. We hung out and they took me around. 2 of them even spent the night in my Hotel. Fun times!

I am in Patong right now. Bangla road beer bars with dancing girls have been my favourite, as can walk around to look for a girl you like. Have found some with stunningly thin bodies, but overall not very good selection in my range. Mostly average body girls.

I've been happy to notice that also Thai girls are mostly ok with taking photos.

Hope you're not over doing it down in Thailand! They can get crazy wild down in Patong. Will be great to have you back in Hong Kong in a weeks time and many of us will be looking forward to reading your reports and seeing your pictures

I nsuggest you also go to Fantasia Club in downtown Phuket.  

It's where the locals go to to get their gals and as such, the quality of the gals are a notch up from what's at Patong - which caters mostly to the farangs.

Most of the beer bars and go-go bars start opening up at 10pm.  I read from local forum that massage parlors are running, but not interested in just happy ending with random masseuses. And that Hard Rock or what was that rock bar at end in Bangla is now open early and has a selection of girls, but they say the day shift if not as good looking as night shift. Have not checked out as I believe them. It's been surprisingly hard for me to find girls of my taste even after 10pm when walking through all the Soi bars. While Thais can be thin and 'skinny', few are both naturally very thin and in good shape at the same time.

Still have one thin girl lined up with whom I have jusrt been talking to and buying a few drinks, as she's still on her periods. And saw the most ultra thin and borderline anorexic girl yesterday, but some guy snabbed her from front of me just after I had bought her a lady drink.
