this will making my punting/hunting experience a little difficult. I know there have been
topics on this before, but through my search, i've found nothing
extensive enough to my liking. I'm hoping that this post can change that...

I was wondering about phrases english phrases I can input in my translator that would translate to the
following terms in chinese. for example, "big thorax", and "net out the fire" (???) As well,
I would like to know how to pronounce these phrases in both canto/mandarin... your help would
be greatly appreciated and I'll promise report on every single lady i see there

Does no one else see the humor/ridiculousness of a Cantonese non-speaker attempting to say "I want to fuck you in the ass" as the first bit of the language he's learning? And, moreover, learning it from transliterations on the internet?

These are the mainstream Cantonese, although we can add a few slightly different dialects that are pretty much skewed Cantonese such as Toisan, you can say Diew C hoon

As for asking how much:

gay door cheen ar Chao hai!? = How much money, you stinky cunt?!

Mandarin is a bit more respectable : duo xiao qian? (actual pin yin)  dwar shee-ow chee-en? (for the Americans)

Unless you are a mainlander, then you say, Ta Ma De! Pao ni de hou men duo xiao qian? = Your mother! Fuck your ass how much money?  I've actually heard this from a mainlander

a minor pt, but you've confused the pinyin for little (xiao) and few (shao) in this case.

i.e., duo xiao qian 多小钱 (note the wrong character) vs. duo shao qian 多少钱

My bad, in Cantonese it sounds exactly the same so I just figured it was the same in Mandarin.

pinyin is fucked up - 'x' sounds more like the English 'sh' than 'sh' does.  'q' sounds more like 'ch' in English than 'ch' does.   Not only that, 'zh' sounds like 'j', 'c' sounds like 'ts', and 'z' sounds like 'ds'.  

Luckily, b, p, m, f; d, t, n, l; g, k, h, j;  and r do sound the same in pinyin as in English.  One of the first things you'll learn in Chinese school.

well the "h" sounds more Hebrew, with a little back throat action, as if you were ready to hock a loogey.

I'm still trying to figure out how to ask for BBBJ in canto. Anyone know? I'm an ABC, and speak very little canto let alone sex slang but I'm heading to Hong Kong next month for mongering with whatever languange skills I've got!
