Hotel Recommendation TST

Probably heading to HK next Week, Looking for some recommendations on where to stay. I know Causeway bay Quite well as I stayed there before But I was thinking of TST area as there seems to be a bit more action / HGs there. any of you able to suggest reasonable , cheap hotels in TST for about 5 days? Obviously Girl friendly would be a plus haha

Also. when it says available for overnight, how much can you expect to pay?

Thanks in advance

you can try the Holiday Inn Golden Mile, its girl friendly, and also has a nice bar called Hari's at the mezzanine level where youcan pick girls up. some details about Hari's bar can be found here: http://forum.sex141.com/eforum/v ... &extra=page%3D1

overnight usually means 3x the advertised price

Depending on when you get here, the trade fair is starting at the end of the month so don't expect to get any cheap rooms in any hotels ... Or any room at all !

These are amongst the cheapest near TST but they are only around 2 star so very mediocre. I have never stayed at these so cant make a referral for you.

The Comfort Lodge Tsim Sha Tsui
The International Inn Kowloon
The Hollywood Guesthouse Kowloon
The Paris Guest House Hong Kong
The Cosmic Guest House Kowloon
TWH Tai Wan Hotel Hong Kong

For 3 star properties, The Park Hotel, The Nathan and The Kimberly are options. Not super nice at all but usually price is OK.

I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile or one of the Marco Polo hotels on Canton Road. I pay HK$1,200 in April but I have a corporate rate that helps. You may need to pay around $2,000?

April and October are very expensive times to stay in HK. Hotels that are normally HK$1,000 double at these times.

I'm coming in next week too.  Am booked in TST at 1750 per night, on a corp rate, over on Canton Road.

Are the 7's going on then too?  That also clogs up rooms and raises the rates.

Thanks for the info Guys, I am still viewing the information here in Japan and haven't decided to go yet but The Holiday inn on Nathan Road appears to be a good choice if I end up making a run for it haha

Well, whatever you decide, you'd better decide quick as the Rugby Sevens are on next week-end and most Hong Kong hotels are even now already starting to be fully booked out.

Also, note the following days for the Canton Trade Fair - with lots of buyers etc staying in Hong Kong for days they're not attending

Apr 15 - 19, 2011,
Apr 23 - 27, 2011,
May 1 - May 5, 2011
