Been wanting to ask for some time but have been too embarrassed to do so.

Is there anything on the market that can help with boosting sex drive? I have no problems getting it up but sometimes the urge is just not there. Without the urge there is no enjoyment. I've tried a lot of herbal based medicines but they just don't work.

A few years ago I would still go to discos and those pills would do wonders. But I've given up on that now. Besides it's all shitty stuff now and the effect is completely different from back then.

Hey so happens I have had a lot of time to waste on the internet lately and have been researching this topics.  Though my sex drive is strong as it has every been - I am just looking for something to reeve things up s bit.  Google Deprenyl or Cabergoline.  I have not tried either of these yet, but I am really tempted.  I am a little concerned about the safety both these drugs.

You are absolutely right but I won't/can't do it in HK and I don't yet have an excuse to move to China by myself. There's nothing a China doll can't cure.

I've tried Dostinex (the trade name of Cabergoline) and I didn't feel anything. Maybe you need to take it on a regular basis to get it into your system. But I don't have Parkinson's disease and I like it that way. I think Deprenyl works the same way as Cabergoline as it can also be used to treat Parkinson's disease.

Exercise and lots of it, competitive sports is also good, harsh exercise which I used to do (ie bench pressing 75 kilos when I am pretty feeble compared to English natives) , gets the testosterone flowing which should give you the desire.

I find danger tends to up mine, though its -8C outside , can't be going out riding in this weather , or can I.....?

Have you tired Tongkat Ali/Horny Goat Weed?  I have not tried it - but thinking I might.  Just to see if it gets more out of the sexual experience.  

As I said my sex drive is already pretty high - I am well into my 40s and I think about sex constantly.  I do take DHEA - maybe this has something to do with endless desire for sex.

I guess my mind is not up to it.

I used Tongkat Ali for a few months when I was into bodybuilding a few years ago. I don't know whether it works or not as I couldn't tell the difference. Maybe it works but the effects are too gradual for you to notice anything. Not like Viagra where you pop it and in a while you think: "Hey it's working!" I haven't tried Horny Goat Weed but it's supposed to be less potent than Tongkat. Maybe DHEA might help. I haven't tried it but I'll look into it. Thanks.

I tell you it seems to have bumped up my testosterone levels after taking them for a few weeks.  I think about sex even more and when I have sex I seem to be able to last longer and enjoy it even more.

As Twice says "it's all in the mind" ..... I can't believe sometimes being with a fantasy WG, I still have another fantasy going on in my head to really get off. The worst thing is the distracting thoughts, which is where invoking my own personal "fantasies" comes in when I need it.

I also use DHEA, (like jgaw88) and find it a big libido boost. I buy it in the USA when I travel there and it is legal and cheap. Essentially DHEA is a precursor i.e. a catalyst for your body to produce low dose testosterone and steroid .... and is most affective as you get older. DHEA is produced naturally by your body and peaks around your mid twenties ... reducing relentlessly as you grow older until production hits zero around your 60'th birthday. I like to have breaks from taking DHEA to increase its effect when I want it, and will double/triple the dose when I am mongering. Just don't take it at night unless you plan on being awake past your normal beddy-bye time.  

I come from the States and when I get to Hong Kong or Macau its like a toy store for me.  But maybe because you life there after time it becomes just everyday and loses its attraction.  That doesn't help you I know.

I agree with the guy that spoke of the benefits of exercise.  Even if you're not overweight you still may not be fit and there are very few of use that are at or near our potential.

I'd skip any drugs or whatever just because who knows the side effect of even a herb?  And everything has side effects.

but in my case, being ex-cancer, my veins are so screwed up from all the ops & treatment...so my only course is a lil viagra to fill in

but with all drugs (illegal & non)...moderation is the key...u use the drugs but not let it use you

I don't quite agree that "it's all in the mind". If that was the case it would make no difference whether you are 20 or 50 or 70. You don't argue with nature. If your body is not producing testosterone because of age then it's not producing testosterone. As a result your libido decreases. It's just natural. No mind techniques are going to replenish the testosterone you had when you were younger.

That said, I think I'll give DHEA a try. I've seen it available in Manning. I'm not looking to be 20 or 30 again but just hoping for a little boost to make mongering (or even sex with the missus) a little bit more enjoyable.

Point taken but the mind is a powerful tool that can either expand or inhibit sexual activity/enjoyment. I know if I am under a lot of stress re work, etc., my mind can greatly interfere when I want it to just turn off and focus on some sweet bed companion.  

Will Viagra help get over being nervous?
I don't have a problem getting hard with my GF but always have problems getting hard with a WL.
How long does it take before you see an affect after swallowing the pill?

Maybe it's down to the GFE you get with your GF. Perhaps scan the reports section for WG/HG who do provide good GFE before you go for it.
