#25 Post at 7-3-2009 12:54  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I have the same issue with the wife.  I get out during my lunch hour or on the way home from work.   Every now and again I say I am having drinks with the boys after work.  I am lucky in a way as my mobile phone has a ridiculously low ring tone.   I often listen to my iPod and don’t hear it if she happens to call – sometimes I purposely do not answer even if I hear it.  When I am out whoring I turn the ringer off – so it not unusual if I do not answer.  If she calls persistently -  I say I had turned my ring tone off for a meeting at work and I forget to turn it back on.

Alternatively, if your job allows, make up the occasional false business meeting as an excuse to get out of the office for an afternoon. I'm lucky my boss doesn't monitor me too closely, so I can get away with having the odd pretend meeting with a non-existant client. Another choice is to tell your wife you have a business dinner with clients/visting overseas suppliers etc. This is obviously job dependant, but is good for at least 1 evening a month in my experience. Last choice I can think of, just tell her you are going out for a boys evening with your freinds and make sure you have a friend to cover for you, if your girlfriend/wife knows your friends and contacts them to check up on you. Where there's a will, there's always a way.

As Stonecold said in post #28, I want to visit WGs cus my wife isn't willing to do things I want in bed. But she is a bit of a control freak, always wanting me at home and trying to make me feel guilty if I go out for a few hours. Luckily, I like going to MK and SSP and she doesn't like those areas. I still haven't worked up the balls to go to a WG yet... Soon tho methinks.
