I believe this is all but impossible for the Herpes viruses - they don't survive outside the human body for more than a second - very fragile.

Some other bacterias and viruses can survive much longer - especially in a warm, moist environment like a bathroom.  But not herpes.  Luckily, most people never actually get any symptoms even if they are, in fact, positive with the virus.
