You Bros ever get FB links to your WG regulars?  It is wacko what some of them put up on their pages.  I have a few links (though MY FB page is entirely fictional - says nothing about me at all - it's purely there to keep in touch with my illicit hotties).  

Anyway, many of their FB pages are genuine - right name, home address, and family-members mixed in with punters (me, for example) as their friends.  The pics quite often knock me out!  Dressed in tiny skirts and hot-pants, the sign of Makati Bar or Neptune in the background, booze everywhere, drunk guys wrapped around them. Shite!  Thank god I have yet to see myself in any of these pics, but I gotta imagine I show up on some after all these years.  

I can't imagine how they explain such pics to their families back home.  Sigh.  Young girls --- don't realize how they may regret these pics floating around in the years ahead.  I know, personally, that there isn't a single pic of me that some gal took that I haven't regretted.  They've never done anything nasty with the pics, but just knowing they are out there is spooky.

I've already been asked my Renren and weibo (chinese versions of FB and twitter) by chinese girls. I don't have that, and anyway, I would never add a WG or even just a sauna girl to my real network.

I think, as long as you treat them politely and with respect, and that you're not too much of a sexual freak, they find it cool to have a foreign buddy. On the other hand, I am still young, I look clean, so I could be a real friend (though they touched my dick).

But a young pinay surrounded by old drunk guys, I don't know how they could explain it. Maybe back to their country, they are more open to this, it's normal to wear sexy skirts, and all foreigners are old wwith red faces ! And actually, you see a lot of those scenes in Thailand and philipines, it's not really 'visually' shocking. They are just partying.

same as wander, i also dont have a fb account for myself, but i maintain one just to add all the girls from spas and ktvs. yeah i like to snoop around lol. sometimes, i can even get a preview of the newer girls bec some of the girls post pictures of their days off with "work mates"

most of them unfriend me though if i ever ask anything about their work. some girls dont even know they get tagged all over facebook. so i now just stick to lurking haha.

I would assume, much like you, they have a separate "party and professional" account - which they use for that. I doubt they share that with highschool friends, family, etc.

I actually never thought of making a fake FB account for mongering purposes. What an interesting idea...

those type of pictures are not really that uncommon even among civvie girls anyways and I guess to non mongers you do not really know its a monger bar.

I actually made a fake FEMALE FB page for some gals -- those than cannot have a strange male FB-friend because of their family's/spouses sake.  (Ie:  the smarter ones!)  Hehe.  Here, I am a 29-year-old, hot, educated Thai gal, who moved to Manila (and therefore can logically meet both Thai and PI gals).  Nothing strange about it if their family sees me as their friend.

It's not a lot of gals, but a few made a real impact and it's nice to stay in touch till they return.

Galvinating all over Wanchai, climbing in windows of neighbour's houses, avoiding all sorts of GF's, living a full family life, posting on here - and now a Facebook "Friend" even!!

Most of the WGs I had a very good time with don't have FB. As bro marcopo said, Chinese WGs always asked for QQ which is the most popular instant message software in Mainland. I do have my own QQ now but have yet used it.

Some friends of mine did tell me that QQ is quite a good source to find girls who wanna have fun...but being Chinese literacy challenged and considering almost all the users are using Mandarin as the medium for communication, it's rather difficult...or almost impossible for me. I am also wondering if using Google translate helps or not?

Unfortunately we have only a few years before someone can input your face into Google and be able to find every internet picture of you that is publicly available. I think of all the times I appear in some Chinese tourist photos. You know the drill, 'oh a white guy, let's get our picture with him!' That will be on their Facebook, maybe not private at all. Presto, in another few years everyone will see it.

All those bars of dubious repute.....someone has taken a photo and there you are in the background. Maybe there you are talking to a hot scantily-clad hooker. Maybe some Temple St tourist taking a shot of the market has you chatting with an obvious SW in the background, or walking into a building.

Then some evil social networking company will use file date stamps and/or jpg metadata to build a whole timeline of where you have been and what you have done. Police are already using this to catch rioters. Security cam footage, cellphone shots submitted by angry bystanders, etc. Cross ref with the internet and charges laid.

In another few years, the image searching tech will be super powerful. Anyone who searches for you (like your wife) could see you in compromising situations. 'So just why are you going into that ratty old building in a known WG area, dear?'  Throw away any notion of you have of privacy and maybe wear a hat and a different jacket if you wander around a lot when you punt or punt in a highly public place.  (A tin-foil hat maybe - ha ha).

You might think I'm some whacko conspiracy theorist but it's not a conspiracy, just better and better technology.....and a bunch of stupid teenagers who think this kind of thing is actually 'cool'.  Fuck.

And you're optimistic. Face recognition is already integrated into facebook and google+, though not heard it's working very well.
On mac laptops, face recognition is working very well for your photo albums, so the technology exists and is working well.

There are also some websites you can already use to search an image (you upload the photo you're looking for, and based on the shapes and colors, he will try to find similar images on internet.

Hmm, I've just added a wg from thailand on my fb, the funny thing is when you see all the mutual friends that pop up.  LOL

Funny Scooter - cause it's so true.  One gal I know posts TONS of bar pics (I am in none, thank god!).  I was browsing the other day and went "hmmm, there's Lenny.  And there's Stacy (looking awesome)..., and Anita (mmmmmm)...," haha.  

But scary!!  I am sure I am in some of them.....  It is an odd, but interesting way to "see" some of these WGs in a different light --- out shopping, at home with their gang, at the beach or Disney.  Interesting.

trust me, the corporate drones who run FB do not give a flying fuck about anyone's privacy. try to delete yr profile (NOT "deactivate"--FB's kind suggestion of how to get off their site which does NOTHING). even if u complete a successful delete-procedure, log on during 14 working days, even by accident, and yr active again. to get an idea of how intent FB is intent on keeping u, check their cease-and-desist letter on this site:

as for your PRIVACY rights--people have been stalked, abused, robbed, even murdered from info gleaned from FB or partially from FB. FB's liability? you read their complete SLA when u signed up, right? the thing where you just clicked "Agree" without reading it? no one reads those.

it isn't enough to be careful as OTHERS can tag u on FB, even if yr acct isn't compromised. if someone gets access to yr acct, and has fotos of u, just think for a second about how all those "friends" u have wd react to the fotos? yr family? yr SO?

ya know, i might be paranoid. u might be posting all yr Wanchai pix and be juuuuuuust fine. but once those pix are on the Net, they can go anywhere.

last i checked, 2/3rds of HK employers checked job-applicants' FB accts (92% of HK is on FB). if this thing had existed when i was a teenager, i wd NEVER have gotten a job. but pix of u and WGs, partying or whatever, posted by u or someone else...imagine yr mom or SO having a close look. comfortable with that?

seriously, think about it. Our Hobby and social media do not mix. if someone decides they don't like u anymore and they want to make yr life difficult, if they've got yr profile and a bunch of pix...just THINK ABOUT IT.

Jack Bro....  I hear you and agree completely.  I don't have a "real" FB account at all.  Never wanted one.  The only FB accounts I have are completely fictional, used for punting/girlfriends only and have zero relation to my real world.  No pics of me, no nothing!  Hell, even the email address I used to create them was created JUST for them.  Complete fiction from start to finish.

I am NOT a fan of joining this freaky social-media world.  But I will use it for certain purposes.

Correct me if I am wrong, but most of your girls are working in bars, not in a 141 situation, right? I don't know if that makes the situation any different, but maybe it does.

All the reasons why I kept my hands of FB for so long. But I still finally got in because I was being bugged by many of my old friends to be in it as they have all formed a group in there. I have to say I am sitting on the fence regarding FB, on the one hand, I managed to find some of my long lost old friends and on the other hand, I am worried of being tagged allover the place.

So for me, FB it's only for all these really old friends.

Visiting their Facebook page is one thing, but I wouldn't "friend" them so all my relatives can see who they are.

I DON'T HAVE a Facebook page!!  I have some fictional ones to allow me to communicate with some gals In the medium they know......  But that's it!  

This is our world today.  Learn it.  Understand it.  And then use it!!!  

My gals see exactly what I want them to see.   Nothing more.  But I learn a hell of a lot about them!!  (They are not so careful!)

My only advice? If you use and post on Facebook.  Stop.  

It will all be used against you at some point.
