Malcolm Fraser.... Gotta remember this guy's name!!

I saw that accompanying article about his wife saying that he's just a "Poor Old Boy" when talking about what happened.

What a winner this Fraser is - to manage to have his AUSTRALIAN wife accept an "Asian" perspective in their marriage!
Kudos to him!!

Actually there are many instances of straight up hypnosis too, but up north rather than down south.  About a decade ago I recall Indians in HK that were using hypnosis to rob their victims of money and sex.  I've never witnessed it first hand but I recall seeing it on the news. many times.

My next story is about my aunt in the summer of 2000.  She was visiting some friends in Foshan and decided to rent out a big van to go to Panyu, the big zoo and to eat crocodile meat.  They paid 500rmb to the driver for the day and this was before the huge roads were built, even though there were many good small roads at the time.  There were about 15 people in the van including the driver.  Half way on a tighter road, some guys literally pushed a tree onto the road, a van came from the opposite direction with one gun and a few large machetes drawn.  They robbed everyone in the van, took the keys and jumped back into their van and ran the other direction.  There were no cell phones and the area was country so no telephones nearby either.  Eventually they got help, came back at night.  Those guys were caught 2 days later actually trying to sell something from their heist.  It was shocking that they were actually caught and the police actually did something.  The ringleader turned out to be the van driver's brother and it was all set up.  Shit is crazy, that's why every time I get off the boat at the port, I never dare to take the cars or taxis waiting, I make sure that I always have a friend or relative waiting for me, you never know.
