the bruins do look like the favorite but i'm really impressed how the lightning can play on the road. i think whenever you have playoffs in any sport. the team that can win on the road is the better team. i'm not good at predicting hockey but i think it will go no more than 5 games. it seems this year in the nhl teams are closing out series early.

however the redwings are on a come back. if they win tonight ya know the sharks will be nervous as hell. i really hope the wings can just play solid defense. the sharks just out shoot and out hustle them a lot. the redwings are getting old. they will have to use their confidence and their wits to pull this miracle out. defense is the key. i don't think the wings can score much on the sharks. in the last two games they did but they will end.

amazing i thought the wings were done and the lakers were gonna win against the mavs. now my lakers are out bye bye phil and the wings are alive. DEFENSE is the key the redwings must have stellar D to the point jimmy needs a shutout or it could be lights out for the wings and ppl will have to eat raw octopus tonight

Arg damn sharks can't hold a lead. It's never easy lol. Props to the red wings for fighting back. They always seem to pick up their game when they fall behind.

Game 7 Thursday night.

So, who will the Canucks be up against? Sharks or Wings??

Game 7 Thursday night! Who do you have your money on?

Personally, I want to see the Nucks go up against the Sharks... No real reason but it'll be a good match up and should be good to watch/listen to on the radio. None the less... Canucks all the way!!!

No matter the outcome of det vs sj, vancouver will have a tough team ahead of them.

Detroit is proving to have the momentum going into game 7. San jose could bounce back and that could catapult them even higher in the moral department.

That "WHOOOSH" you just felt was all the sharks fans exhaling.  Survived Zetterberg and Datsuyk.  Hoping they can take the momentum and move on against a tough Vancouver team.

Gotta love playoff hockey.

Conference finals

Let's take a look both conference finals

West:
The "best possible" final - #1 vs #2
Both Nucks and Sharks struggeled in round 2 after a 3-0 lead but hung in there some how.
Comparing goalkeepers Luongo (2.2) holds some advantage of Niemi (3.0) on Goals Against average.
On Penalty Killing both team show okay numbers of 80+% - again the Nucks (86%)hold a slight advantage over the Sharks (82%)
Powerplay favours the Canucks with strong 22 % success rate.
The Sharks need full contribution from both Big and Little Joe as well as Marleau to last for more than 5 games.
With the Sedins at full speed and red hot Kesler the Canucks should be able to put the Sharks down in 5 or 6 games.

East:
Probably more the "Surprise Series" compared to the West.
Roloson vs. Tim Thomas - point for the Bruins.
Offensive power - Bruins are more balanced - Lightning need Stamkos to deliver - Four goals in the play-offs is behind expectation. If he can step it up - point  for the Lightning
Worst powerplay (5%) (Boston) meets Best Penalty Killing (Lightnings). Nevertheless the Bruins scored total 37 goals - one less than TBL in the first two rounds . Still point for the Lightning though
Defensively both are play-off leaders with conceding only 2.18 Goals average per game. - point for both.

On quick conclusion: Series will go to game 6 or 7 with Lightning going to the Stanley Cup

I'm a Canucks fan boy. But apart from the extreme bias, Canucks got everything it takes to win this series. Esp if sedins can produce along with kesler stepping up big again.

Regardless, whoever comes out in the west will beat the east.

For east, I'm also calling Boston.

Before the playoffs started that is what I called

Canucks Vs Boston

THAT IS NICE.
damn thanks a lot for the picture.

I am sure he enjoyed it in the box though.

That game, Vancouver dominated but San Jose did try.

I am really hoping that Vancouver doesn't sweep them but at the same time I think Vancouver is going to win this series.

I already made a few bets LOL
I know I shouldn't have

Flasher!!!!

She deserves tickets to the final!!! She certainly more interesting then the Green Men.
Here is a face shot when she was flashing Eager. Maybe she can dance at No. 5 Orange
She would do in a pinch .... a bit of a muffin top but she would do

I'm hoping the Canucks do it tomorrow night and end the series. Hopefully Boston and Tampa will play 3 more hard
hitting games.

On a different note I heard the flasher lost her job because of the flashing. Don't know why maybe she had company tickets
and it didn't look good for the company. I know my boss told me that he was responsible for the behavior of the people he  gave tickets to.

So who are people betting on to face the Canucks in the Finals.

Or who would the Canuck fans on this board rather face?
