Well, at least the knicks are in a way better spot than 2 years ago.
While I don't see them making it out of the East, Boston was probably the best matchup you could hope for to give them a chance at  ...

Rotoworld says STAT should play in Game 3 since MRI reveals just muscle spasms.

Billups on the other hand had his knee drained today and is questionable for game 3.

They NEED to win in NY.

Why are expectations so high for the Knicks? They just got Anthony and Billups not too long ago so I doubt they even have the proper teamwork in place. Next year, I expect them to be a force, but not so soon.

bc the games are so close.  The Knicks were basically winning the game for 46 min for both games!  They appear to forget its a 48 min game

Its the fact that they surprised everyone and riding on a lot of momentum only to run into setbacks. I hope they pull through... At least beat boston! Ofcourse we dont expect the knicks to take the championship but by doing well against boston this playoff, it will really bring up the team morale.

I actually had low expectations for this knick team considering the pieces around them and the amount of time they to build chemistry. Of course I would love for them to beat boston but building a winning mindset is the most important thing in my eyes. That of course means they gotta win some games in the REAL "garden" these next few days.

I still think the east is a crapshoot between Boston, Chicago and Miami. Unfortunately I do think wade, princess bosh and the coward are gonna make the finals. In the west I see the lakers cause of their size but okc is gonna give em a hell of a run.

I'm gonna go unconventional here and say it'll be Thunder vs Heat in the finals. I've been quite amazed by how the Thunder has gone from a dead franchise, to new but still shitty franchise, to a solid ...

I am surprise not a lot of mention of Thunder here either.  They were very impressive as of late.

I've actually seen the opposite, where its almost a given that the only 2 teams that we'll see in the west finals are OKC and LA.
As I mentioned before, it should be a great series. If you remember last year, OKC took LA to 6 games, the majority of which were pretty close. I fully expect a 7 game series this time around, and as long as the Lakers play somewhat decent, we should see them in the finals again. Not to take anything away from OKC though, they're without a doubt in the top 3 teams, but Lakers just seem to have a bit more motivation goin (6th ring for kobe, 3peat, and maybe the last playoffs for phil).

So miami and chicago are now both up 3-0 in the series. Rose struggled with his shot today but once again did damage drawing fouls and getting to the FT line. Been pretty impressed with Indiana so far given they are the playoff team with the worse record.

Wade was dominant -  32/10/8/1/2

A Bulls vs Heat Eastern Conference Finals would awesome.

Good win for blazers too.

East - as much as I would like Shaq to have his last taste of a championship, sadly I would prefer the Bulls vs Miami matchup. I'd like Wade educate Rose. ;) Althoygh a Boston vs Miami is still interesting. Boston's defense against Lebron and the guys is good challenge for Miami.

West - I don't like lakers, I hate them that much that I like them to win the conference finals and then lose from Miami!

it seems that the competition at the conferenc Est is bigger than for the West side.
I think we will have :
West
- San Antonio vs Oklahoma City
- Los Angeles vs Dallas
Est:
- Chicago vs Orlondo
- Miami vs Boston

I hope to see a Chicago vs Miami and that Rose show to James that no need to build a big 3 to win.

CP3 triple double and series is now even at 2-2 with LAL

Been more entertaining and closer than I thought it would be so far.

I want the Bulls to do well too, but did you hear that Derrick Rose was wearing a walking boot recently? Doesn't bode well for the rest of the playoffs even if they win the current series.

Knicks need to get some depth asap. And dantoni probably has to go at some point too, tho I don't see any coaches out there for us now unless the zen master wants to come in.

Still gotta respect the celts tho, although I'm only pulling for them now cause I really can't stand the Miami princesses. Winner of that series is going to the finals I think, especially if rose's injury lingers the rest of the way.

Ankle boot is supposedly only a "precautionary" measure....
Although it definitely makes one wonder if Rose will be healthy enough to take on Miami or Boston in the finals..

Hornets are really taking it to the Lakers.... or more specifically Chris Paul is...

After last night's loss, i think its a forgone conclusion that Dwight is leaving Orlando. Sucks but Otis Smith had plenty of chances to build around Dwight and he failed.

Sad to say, any team with Carmelo as its main man will never win a ring

Evidence by the way he was shooting blanks at the end of game 1 vs. Boston, all the while Amare was unstoppable and yet he still insisted on taking the shots.

Otis Smith sadly never got a closer for his team.  A closer is a player that takes (and makes) the big shots when the game is in its last few plays.  All championship teams have this type of player, the one player where you give the ball to in the dying seconds of a game. As it is really a requirement.  Jordan, Bryant (not Shaq,) Wade (not Shaq,) Olajuwon, Billups & R. Wallace, Duncan, Pierce.

So far Heat have it (Wade, yes not James) Bulls (Rose) Lakers (Bryant, but age is starting to hobble him) OKC (Durant, Westbrook) Boston (Pierce, not as effective anymore)

So I therefore my prediction is it will be Lakers vs. Bulls and Bulls win it.  Just like MJordan's first championship, going through the LA Lakers!
