Shark a gogo was since more then a decade one of my favourite bars.
But since one year the bar went downhill, due to crappy service and high prices.
Shark becomes more and more a japanese bar, like Baccara.
The standard rate was 2000 ST and 4000 LT before negotiation, now they quote 3000 ST and 5000 LT,
and as bro rockme reported, they are trying now to get LT 6000. Fuck.
Had two weeks ago a bad experience. Clicked with a stunning girl, (yes I wanted her), ST ok,
in my hotel room, showered, No DATY, No 69 coz ticklish, 5 Minute BJ, after she ordered: “Please fuck me now”,
covered, after 5 minutes, just started to find a rhythm, “it hurts”. “Why you not cum?” She has expected that I cum in 5 minutes.
A Rip off, 3000 Baht for 10 minutes. Total waste of money. Shark lost my business.
Since 20 years I celebrate my hobby in Thailand. ST is/was always 2-3 hours fun with a girl.
(I avoid to use the ST –hotels, were you get after 45-60 minutes the “time – is – finished –knock” on the Door).
I like to have time, to warm up with the girl in my hotelroom.
Unfortunately in many 3000 ST – 5000LT bars (Rainbow 1+4, Baccara and now Shark) is the trend to make the short time event as short has possible.
If you count it all together: 3000 ST + 600 BF + 800 Drinks (2 each) + 400 ST-Room then u get = 4800 Baht!!!
Buy some condoms and a bottle of water then u have 5000 Baht.
If then the net fucking time is something between 10-20 minutes; that is a total waste of money!
My counter strategies are:
Beside, as a thai resident, I have a good bundle of regular girls; and they are more then happy to stay with me 24 hours if needed.
1. I like to hunt in the GoGo´s. If I see a nice girl, then over a drink I try to get her phone number.
Offer her to meet her later in an after hour disco for some fun or to call her around late midday for a pre work fuck.
Success rate greater than 50%. Many are happy with 2000 Baht for 2-4 hours.
2. For a good exercise session I prefer meanwhile the oilys and soapy Parlors. For 1700 – 2600 Baht I get hassle free fun for 90 -120 minutes. All included.
3. In the after hours discos I find always nice girls. Some are bar girls and some have other jobs (semi professionals).
2000 Baht from 3am to 6 am is easy to find. Many staying until 11 am (Check out time) or even more.
4. To connect in the social sides like thaifriendly, asian friend finder, tagged, line, WA, etc is also worth the effort to avoid the ST gogo rip off´s.
If the gogo bar managers are not careful and continue to the principle: high prices for crappy service, they will lose a lot more expat business.
If the big japanese spenders drop out, for any reason whatever (exchange rates, riots, etc), they can close their doors then.
