The mods can delete this post if they find it offensive ( though it is not meant to be - as it is just a stating of facts as they are).
Speaking of certain races misbehaving in bars - I'd say with a certain measure of confidence that in societies where men are brought up in cultural setups - or environments that are repressive, these men then suddenly find a watering hole to be a be zone of zillion miles of freedom .
I have had my fair share of interesting experiences watching some men of the "highly overcharged" race. Yes, they think that once they are on the dance floor and with women dancing around in gay abandon, they are easy pickings to be touched and groped. Why then wouldthey grind their bubbly asses and tease other men, is the oft and repeated question by these men. More than often, the girls in the bar would find it offensive that darker races (from South Asia) have touched them but find it totally acceptable if a 'superior' race wiggle their fingers up their butt hole (so as to speak).
Unfortunately, South Asian men are perceived as trouble makers - exactly because of the way they drink (North Indians I have found, drink to prove how many pegs / mugs they can down on the rocks and BRAG about it. In the process, many turn out sore loosers as they can't handle the high level of alcohol that goes into the blood stream and very often, end up being thrown out of bars SOLELY on the basis of their drunken state - even if they have not abused any woman.
A note though - about North Indian men who venture into Wanchai Bars (especially). Many of them are from the lower rung of 'social class' of HK if you allow. Many are transport van operators, many work two or three jobs and basically have not had access or an opportunity to higher education. Many were born in HK and speak the local language fluently - to the point they think they can rule the roost in any bar. AND - many are below the age of 35 , thus young bloods !
On the other hand, the other group of South Asian men (Indians and some Pakistani men who work in shipping companies, high finance (private banking, insurance, shipping industry, aviation industry, logistics, education etc) are very well off in terms of earning power and education. Decency levels too are refined - and quite a few of these can be found - NOT in Wanchai but in high end Lan Kwai Fong / SOHO or Knutsford Terrace. Even if these South Asian men DO GO into Wanchai bars, their behaviour is far more different than an average Joe in Wanchai .
To sum it up, US Navy - whenever they are in town, have Officers and sailors. Off-duty Officers are more conscious of their bearings and responsibilities even in a bar full of skimpily clad women . Go over to a US Navy 'Seaman' and he is a brag of sorts . That's a bit of a crude analogy between South Asian men of labor class and South Asian men of white collar jobs.
(Above are my observations through interactions with many south-asian friends and are mine alone. These observations do NOT intend to paint a wide brush on any community)
