Hi alls, I was reading with interest the discussion about the best tv shows and enjoyed the fact that it was side-tracked by a sci-fi discussion - there seem to be a lot of us nerds out there! Are you one of them? **EDIT** - Hmmm, well that didn't work! Options are Yes, I like Sci-Fi but I'm not a nerd and No. I can't get enough of it myself! #3 Post at 22-1-2010 05:32  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Yes to some extent.  I love science fiction, especially when it's done in a way that's actually real for a change.  Most of the science crap is you have to accept what is already there.  It's almost always the same, in every science fiction movie violence.

#4 Post at 22-1-2010 14:29  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I am a HUGE space SciFi Nerd. Anything stars I am a fan of. Star Wars, Star Trek, Starcraft, BattleSTAR Galactic, Stargate (all of them). nowadays there are fantasy, weird(twilight zone, x-files, eureka, other new series) and space scifi.

A real sci-fi fan turns to the novels for his fx. People who have never read sci-fi don't realize how sophisticated and well written some of the better novels are. 孔子曰： 君子不羞于舔屄也

#6 Post at 22-1-2010 19:49  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I wouldn't say I was a die-hard fan of any scifi show as I can find fault in most of them, but I have watched almost every episode of all the STARS listed above, except Stargate after SG1 finished and about half of ST Voyager. Anyone see Space Above and Beyond? It was one of my favourites until Battlestar came back
