Using Macau Sauna as Hotel

Hi,

I'm going to Macau this weekend (2 days, 1 night) with friends, and am trying to plan my arrangements. I've read some on the forums about being able to sleep at the sauna, and that seems like a great option. But before I count on this, I just wanted to clear up a few things:

1) Is this practice acceptable only at certain saunas, and if so, which of the big ones allows it?

2) Once I enter the sauna, am I allowed to come and go? For instance, can I get a message, then go out to dinner, then come back and sleep there?

3) Is this really a feasible plan, or would I be better off just getting a hotel and visiting the sauna for its main attraction separately. Honestly we won't be doing all that much sleeping.

4) Where exactly do you sleep at the sauana, and can you store a bag somewhere?

Sorry for the questions, but it will be my first time in Macau and first time going to a sauna like this.

1) you can sleep in most sauna's
2) afaik that is not allowed, if your out your out, you have to pay the sauna fee again if you want to get back
3) i dont like to sleep in sauna's you will get even more tired cause you wont have a good sleep, there are some cheaper hotels in macau, and in a city like macau.. i think you want to be fit.. rule 1: dont gamble when ur overtired....
4) they have lockers, depends on how big your bag is...   you sleep at the lounge area   or if you  have taken a mssage you can sleep in the massage room...

have fun in macau, and share the expereince

i think its ok for short nap but not to sleep overnight. probably too noisy to get any good sleep there anyways. i think its better to get a cheap hotel than sleep at sauna.

Sleeping at a sauna for one night is okay but for continuous nights I would not recommend due to the lack of small comforts...

If you intent to sleep at these places, I would invest in either good ear plugs/listen to ipod whilst sleeping and eye shades as in the morning the saunas are cleaning and tidying for the next day.
