Has anyone read this article?  I read it last week and it makes me wonder where all of the cute 18-22 y.o. chinese girls are coming from to work in KTV, Sauna, and as HG's.  This is not just a problem in China, but many Asian and non-Asian countries.  My apologies if this subject is taboo or pisses anyone off.

With the current standard of living and wages of males in china and if this continues, it would be very competitive and grave difficulty for them to fiind a wife.

Anyway the 100million missing girls is the combined number from both India and China plus some SE asian countries.  Your worries of more dicks than pussies is valid only if you expect to bang only young (20+ yo) Indian and Chinese girls in 10 years time and don't care about pussies from the rest of the world and you don't have enough money to attract the girls that are available.

It's the fault of the Chinese government who let the parents choose the sex of the babies, and the fault of the Chinese tradition that favor boys, if they see a baby girl, they get an abortion and try again until they get a boy. And many poor families that can not afford to have a baby girl, they abandon it and usually all the abandoned girls go to a orphanage, and eventually, these baby girls get adopted by the wealthy countries like United States. These are thousand of them each year are adopted these way. If you are ABC, you should have no problem finding a Chinese girl to marry.  

It has been suggested "mother nature" will intervene. Homosexuality will increase and disease will result in the numbers returning to 50/50. Scary stuff... we shouldn't "meddle" with nature.

Either that or the price of a F*CK in China will go through the roof and that would REALLY suck! Suck as in a bad thing!

I would say it's really disturbing for all of us.. Just imagine what we'll be the impact of it.

There will be potential problems/changes.  Some are :

1) Increased trafficking and kidnapping of young girls.  I would be fearful to travel into China, India, SE Asia with my daughter or any young female relatives as I would have to watch over them like a hawk.

2) Dowries no longer paid out by Indian families to the the bridegroom family, most likely will become bridegroom family paying out to obtain a wife.  The high cost of dowries is one of the main reasons Indian families currently favor sons over daughters.  

3) More interracial marriages.  Just like the many Chinese labours who could not bring over their wives or single females from China to N. America in the 19th-20th Century because of immigration laws, you will see more Chinese men ignoring their cultural urge to marry only Chinese and just marry any girl as long as they can procreate and continue their family line.  There is a huge population of mixed Chinese-Caribbean ppl in the Caribbeans.  

4) No women remaining single for too long after being widowed or divorced unless she is past child-bearing age.  Like one the links above stated, there may be more marriages between much older women and younger men.  

5) Even fat, ugly, mentally-handicapped, or physically-handicapped girls, as long as they can still have children, will be able to successfully find a guy and they get to be picky about it too.  No more old maidens allowed in this world.

6) Eventually reversal of the age-old favoritism for sons as everyone realize the 'value' of a daughter.  Apparently this has already happened in S. Korea which is also a very traditional, Confucian society that used to favored sons until they realize daughters are valued for staying close to home when they get older and help take care of the parents.  

7) The most dangerous potential problem is the existence of a large population of young, horny, aggressive, males who can cause social unrest with lots of fighting, crime, or embarking on jihadism in other countries because of boredom or restlessness.  One cannot underestimate the power of the presence of a female lover has on even the most aggressive guy.  

PS:  I guess on a sidenote we will have to hope the Japanese can develop a very good sex robot to keep all those who cannot afford a live wg or SO so we can finally have world peace.  

I don't believe these problems only lie within Chinese cultures.
It's people who are screwing with mother nature.
People who want babies are choosing the sex of their babies.
The rates of twins are increasing also because parents want twins to get it over with.

Hopefully, the future won't be full of gay people.

Yep, in America also there is so much fertility treatments going on and pretty lax ethics, I.e. ladies having 4 or 5 babies in a delivery.

I'd rather on practice making those babies with other woman.  After all something the only good thing about children is making them.
I'd leave the effects of the country on what the policy decision are for the politicians.

these statistics do not even take into account how many chinese woman will be stolen by the white male. so these really are the best case numbers for men.

I'm not sure I agree with this point. Except if you meant, chinese men marrying women from other asian countries. In this case, IMHO, this is not interracila marriages.

IMHO, the only way for those interracial marriages to happen is chinese me living in other countries where there's a scarcity of chinese women. That's what happened to the chinese males living in America or Carribean, like you quoted.
In America, they were limited to "import" chinese wives by immigration laws, and in the Carribeans I think this tend started because chinese workers could mostly coppulate only with black women. And after generations have past, chinese an black carribeans probably felt like the same people belonging to the same country. Thus the miscegenation just kept on.

I doubt the unlucky single chinese men of the PRC would travel outside Asia to find a wife. Let's not forget, chinese men who are (or will be) impacted by this issue are likely to be of low-status. So, they could not achieve those interracial marriages by going in the West. Indeed, their only chance to marry, in the West, would be with poor western women. But even poor western women have a better off than these poor chinese men. And women seldom chose someone financially inferior to them. So they're left only with Africa.
I really doubt it would cross their mind to travel to Africa to pick up black wives and take them back to China. I could only see those interracial-marriage (Chinese men-African women) happening if the influx of chinese workers in Africa keep on ( at least for the next 10 years) thanks to the building contracts that China has sealed with some African countries. I think this could happen if chinese male workers are granted to stay in those African countries and set up businesses after their work is done. If they find it hard to "import" chinese women, they would be left only with black women and would take it.

I did mean interracial marriages with non-Asians. Allow me to explain further.

As time goes by, China living standards keeps going up.  As you pointed out it will be mostly the lower-class guys who will have trouble finding wives.  But because of China's growing financial wealth, these guys will use their relative wealth to import or traffic women from the poorer regions, ie Africa, parts of Latin America, Siberia, Near East, maybe some poor white trash from USA, plus from persistently poorer neighboring Asian countries, - Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar (if it opens up), N.Korea (if it opens up).

As everyone knows, Chinese prefer to marry their own kind and always threaten their children with banishment should they marry a non-Chinese or non-Asian.  But when the grandparents see their mixed grandchildren for the 1st time, all that anger and disappointment just goes right out the window.  Plus (I see this everytime) the grandparents consider their grandchildren ethnically Chinese, not a mix, not White-Chinese, not Black-Chinese, just Chinese.  This differs from the black and white mixes whereby more often than not their children are considered black, never mixed or white.  If anything in Chinese culture, having a descendant (mixed or pure) to carry out the family name/line overrides the desired need to marry only Chinese.  

Because of their overriding need to continue the family line, I think these lower-class guys will be willing to overlook the ethnicity of their wives.  Besides as long as the wife and children learn the Chinese culture, they will be considered Chinese.

If you get a chance to travel around China, you will notice there are many ppl who look ethnically different but all consider themselves Chinese.  Their ancestors may have been from a neighboring tribe, Silk Road traders, invaders (regional and international), etc but over the generations past living in China, they have come to see themselves as Chinese.  

PS: Every time I meet a mixed Chinese that is several generations removed from living on the mainland, the person will still be able to use chopsticks   though they are not able to speak or read Chinese.  Goes to show the most dominant aspect of the Chinese culture is EATING.

This imbalance means that we will for the forseeable future have guaranteed mongering opportunities because its simply a necessity in the society.
