141 door signs

Can anyone help please?

Are signs only posted on a 141 door if it is busy?

If not what is/are the sign/s (Chinese characters) for "busy - come back later" and what are the signs for "open for business"?

I think if the girl is free she will put "WELCOME" sign on the door. Otherwise she must be busy. So when you see WELCOME sign, knock the door.

Actually, for "welcome" it's sometimes three characters, too! Something like "please ring bell" (but in Chinese).

It three characters, with the last one being 鐘 (means "clock", I think) - well, that's the one I usually see and it tells me that the girl is available.

In the main I think most signs do have English some where on them now a days. When I first started out this was not the case. I remember at that time one girl told me 4 characters OK 3 characters not OK. But I can not remember the last time the sign did nit have English. But maybe I have just not noticed.
