I will be arriving in HK on sunday night, where is the best bar in wan chai to pick up a woman at about 8/9pm.  I am not looking for a full time WG, either a tourist or maid looking to have a bit of fun on the side.

What is the protocol, do you just go in and sit down and wait for the women to approach you?

I hate to break it to you, but you're actually arriving after the party's over.  Reality is most of the DH will be rushing home for a curfew any time around 8pm to 10pm.  You can still find some stragglers that time on a Sunday, so go for it anyway, but you'll have to move fast.  

Where to go?  I strongly suggest you read reports, it's not just useful intel, you'll start to feel and behave like a local, and your learning curve will be faster.  Some suggestions: New Makati, Escape, Insiders are fairly proven - each has its own flavour.  No substitute for reading reports, the small details you pick up make all the difference.  

Protocol is pretty much
  walk in
  look around to QUICKLY set priorities
  establish eye contact
  initiate conversation
  read her mood and go from there

If you know how to flirt, and / or make a girl laugh, you're ahead in the game.  And if you don't, learn how, it's pretty much all you need to know about 'protocol'!  

Oh, and do make a point of buying yourself a drink, as a "thank you" to the bar for providing the venue.  Don't be a freeloading jerk, who causes them to impose a cover charge.  

If she's working she'll tell you very early, and you can decide if you want to negotiate
If she simply asks for a drink she's probably neither working nor looking for sex, just for a commission from the bar
Unless she's drinking beer, or orange juice - the bar doesn't pay commission on cheap drinks - in which case she's genuinely interested in you

Again, be mentally prepared that you'll probably find it too late to pick up a civvy DH that late on a Sunday, so you should have a fall-back plan for what to do with your evening and your blue balls, or simply treat it as reconnaisance the first night.  From that standpoint, go for it anyway, and respond to what you find.

Tourists?  If you find a female tourist looking for action in WanChai on a Sunday I'll eat my hat.  They have WAY too much competition, and the majority of civvies hate the place.  Maybe try LKF ... but the odds are long.  I'm told Dragon-I is a place where hot girls go specifically to meet hot guys.  Are you hot?  If not, are you rich enough to act like you're rich?

Even Abby says her slow day is Sunday...one can only assume the DH's RULE!!!!!

Since you say you are not looking for a full time WG, but rather a maid or tourist... do I read it correctly you are looking for a freebie? makes are "quick sure thing" a little more complicated.

I think you will have your work cut out if you want to get a freebie type situation.  Unless you have looks like Daniel Craig you will not get to far.

WG's will not be interested and DH's more than likely be wanting a 'donation'.

I suggest you try LKF but Sunday night will most likely be dead.

1. On Sunday in the Wan Chai bars you probably have 95% maids before 8.30pm.  Anyway just ask them!
2. I would say you are as they are not WG's and many don't go to Wan Chai every week and maybe once or twice a month.  Let's just say the risks I think are lower but still taking precautions are important for ANY situation.  They are alot more fun and interesting and you will have a better time than a WG in my opinion.

A donation is important in my opinion so don't skimp out.

oh, and if she's a maid, she'll tell you ... either directly, by saying she's a "helper" or a "maid" ... or indirectly by referring to her "day off" or how how many contracts she's worked, or some other obvious hint to test YOU to find out if you're prejudiced against maids.  Remember: the interview is two ways.  

And (like I also said) if you find a non-DH civvie girl hanging out in a seedy bar in WanChai on a Sunday night, chatting up a random tourist who doesn't look like Daniel Craig, I'll DEFINITELY eat my flippin' hat!!

It's not about the money.  It's about whether she's willing to have sex with a guy she never met, on the first day she met him.  Do the math.  D'oh ...
A maid who sleeps around is just as dangerous as a WG.  Quite possibly more dangerous, because she may be going BB with every new "boyfriend" who swears undying love to her ...

ALWAYS take the same precautions.  ESPECIALLY if the girl brings up the possibility of going BB

Some go more than one night a week, visiting Makati and pool halls like Scratch.  I used to be friends with several girls who fitted that description.  They didn't live with  their boss and/or had an employer who was frequently out of Hk, which allowed some freedom to do things on weeknights.  

Okay, let's say they only go out once or twice a month (very uncommon for the wanchai girls I knew), there are other variables that come into play, such as their willingness to offer unprotected sex.  Unfortunately, some maids go bareback.  Not all.  But some.  If they offer that service to you, there's a strong possibility that they are offering it to others, including guys who have fucked many other maids bareback and might be carriers themselves.  If they say they go once a month, assume they go twice if not more.  If they say they don't fuck around, assume that they do.  If a maid says she never fucks bareback, assume that she does - just not with you yet!!!  I bold "yet" intentionally. She might be doing it with wanchai regulars who might have fucked many other maids unprotected and might be carriers themselves.  She might be telling the truth, but then she might not be.  No way of knowing since you don't know her from Adam (or Eve for that matter) and she doesn't carry a dossier of every guy that she has slept with.  In short, I don't think there is less chance of getting an STD from a "one nighter" maid since the precautions she takes are an unknown variable.  There are risks in punting, which we all have to readily accept.
