How come i cannot post onto the reports section?

I typed a long detailed report and it said i was not permitted to post. Is there some kind of restriction for a newbie?

There are no restrictions being placed on anyone;

Did you login before posting ?

If you can provide the actual steps that you took to post the report, and your post was not allowed, please PM details to me and I will investigate the matter.

This is the first time that I have heard of this.

I registered and logged in then started reading a few reports. Decided to post one of my own. Typed it all up(over half an hour) and clicked the button to post it onto the forum. it came back with a message saying i was not alllowed to post.

This happened to me once, just when I finished writing and hit the 'submit post' button
I found the site was down    and lost everything I wrote.
Believe me, I KNOW how how you feel !!!

Now I type it in MS word and cut and paste it into the thread

Saw your replies to some of the posts  

Would really like to see you report ... perhaps eventually ...

Good advice bro. I do this wilth ALL long emails, not just those to this forum. Lost lots of work in the past due to computer gliches.

you are not alone;

after typing a post and press the submit button, I get something like the access to the forum timed out and got to keep clicking the Retry button in Firefox

if it happens again, please take a screen shot and email it to me;

please also provide the following information;

1. Which browser are you using?
2. Are cookies enabled?

When you first login to the site, what is the length of time you specified to keep the cookies?
