SHANGHAI Punters be Careful
As the crackdown/LE activity thread is locked in the Mainland sub-forum, posting here:
Was initially planning on a trip to Bodi this afternoon. Sent a few of my regulars texts seeing if they were available, and all said that starting today, Bodi is closed.
Managers said this was a precautionary measure, due to the upcoming 18th Conference/power transfer. I tried to get some more info as to how long they'd be closed, but they were running on limited info as well.
I thought the 18th Conference was still a few weeks off (right after the national holiday?), so it could be just a quick check-up/LE activity for a few days... I'd hate to think that Bodi would be closed for close to 3 weeks!
Regardless, Bodi has always been a very safe sauna, and when they close down, 99.9% of the time it means raids are coming for venues. Would highly suggest that punters (in Shanghai anyway) take 2 or 3 days off..
Sent a few texts to other regulars at different saunas as well to see if they were still operating, have yet to hear back from even one of them. Will try to keep everyone updated on the news. | |
