I've never been to the pubs to punt.... But I work around that area so here are some of my suggestions...
I've also heard that the food at the pubs around Neptune II are 'OK'...not bad, not good...
Look these places up to see their location and reviews at www.openrice.com, there is an "english" icon so you will be able to work the website no problem
1. Flying Pan - open 24hours, an all day breakfast joint

2. To Yuen - further away, is a classic 'cha chan tang' great food and cheap, avoid if you can't speak any chinese at all
http://www.openrice.com/english/restaurant/sr2.htm?shopid=10319
3. Wing's Catering - you come here and you order the chicken, and lotus root cake rice... you won't regret it

4. 8 Happiness - this is a chain, owned by the Maxim Group...very fairly priced!!

5. Sun King Yuen Curry Restaurant - don't go durning lunch time..go after 2:30pm

6. Kam Fung, come here for a pineapple bun or chicken pie, and get a glass of their iced milk tea it's probably the best in HK
Most of these places I've recommended are very local, and are within a 15min walk from Neptune 2... If you can't speak cantonese... don't go..except for 1. and 4.
oh fuck...I decided to help you out by put the openrice links here for you.... Enjoy kid | |
