i also gave up alcohol a long time ago, but i'd hit the Wanchai bars if i was interested in what they offer. from what i've seen, they're darkened places playing Lady GooGoo at absurd volumes. to each their own:some love these places, and i think wander's explanation says it all!
i don't speak any Chinese, which isn't as much of a prob as the absurd Gwailo Dick Syndrome (GDS). yes, there are laws of physics but i have yet to experience the dreaded GDS from a Thai or VN gal, while i've had PRC gals enact Wagner's Der Ring die Niebelungen (grand melodrama) at the mere thought of penetration...and of course, have had PRC girls who relaxed and enjoyed the hell out of the Dreaded Trouser-Trout.
i think it IS important to be kind to the girls, as many bros have suggested above. yes i do bring fruit often. i tip my barber too.
other stuff varies with language ability and familiarity. i enjoy WGs telling me about other punters. i've had them laughing so hard they can't stand up. my definition of a good time is not # of minutes penis-in-orifice multiplied by # of male orgasms, but whether a good time was had by all. we've all had lousy punts, sometimes girls just aren't into it for whatever reason. it DOES pay to be a gentleman.
the other thing: if you do treat them well, it's often repaid then and there. if u like the gal, she'll be glad to see her again. if u have a monger-pal who u know will treat her well, hook them up: she'll be happy to see another person who will treat her well. you can file this all under "enlightened self-interest" because yes, you get better repeats.
