Know what? To me, the Mid-west is the TRUE America.
The East and the West coasts - to me they're just manifestations of American thinking as to sophistication and living with panache!
Please....don't ask me to explain what I mean by all that!
All I know is that the Mid-west is what America is really all about - and the Mid-westerners are what Americana is. It's a part of America that few outside of the U.S. really pay any attention to, couldn't care less about and understand less - but is truly where the heart and soul of America is at.
Just IMHO again of course - but I have a lot of time and a lot of respect for Mid West America and Mid-Westerners.
